Gator Magnetics
(44 products)
This is the full Gator Magnetics Australia range, and Amarra DIY Hub is the exclusive licensed distributor for Australia and New Zealand.
Magnetic hooks and baskets that snap onto thin steel and carry up to 20kg. No drilling, no screws, no holes. Lift the lever, place it, click it shut, load it up — and move it somewhere else in about three seconds when the job changes.

Want every measurement in one place? The hook comparison chart lists capacity, projection and height for every Gator hook and basket, plus which hook suits which tool.
Will it hold on your wall? A Gator needs about 50mm of flat steel to reach full strength — which covers almost every modern shed, workshop, shipping container, toolbox and work van. Quick test: stick a fridge magnet on the wall. If it sits flat and holds, so will a Gator. Full wall compatibility guide.
Every capacity shown is a shear rating — the real downward load once your gear is hanging on it — tested on 1.6mm steel, not the inflated pull figures quoted on 12mm plate elsewhere.
Genuine Gator Magnetics are not sold in Australian hardware stores. Imitations sold through overseas third-party sites won't hold like the real thing.
