Not really, due to the contours the magnets are not able to sit flush on the metal as such their weight capacity is comprised. Gators ideally need at least 50mm width of flatness to work effectively

All shear strength holding capacities advertised are tested using 16-gauge steel (about 1.6mm Galvanised Steel)

Gator Magnetics work on steel surfaces such as toolboxes, cabinets, sheds, shipping containers, vans, washing machines, and more.
They will not work on aluminium, plastic, or non-magnetic materials.

Holding capacity depends on the product and the surface.
- Mega Hooks - up to 20kg
- Midi Hooks - up to 11kg
- Mini Hooks - up to 6.5kg
Always note that performance can vary based on steel thickness and surface quality.

No - Gator Magnetics are designed to be surface-safe when used correctly. All Gator products have a protective rubber back to protect surface and acts as an anti slip

We fulfil orders within 1 business day, standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days. Next day shipping is available on all domestic orders (for an additional charge). International shipping times depend on the products and destination (estimated at checkout).

Items must be returned within 30 days after receiving your order. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, be unworn/unused, have any tags still attached, and include all the original packaging.
