I needed a vise to use to assist me in rebuilding my front forks on my motorcycle. It’s nice to have the options of changing the angle & head blocks. I can imagine doing a lot of projects with this handy little guy!
best tool purchase for a long time
Sturdy, well-made vise. I will be using it for my home business, (Gunsmith) and around the home. I have only had it set up for a week and have used it daily. My cast iron vise is getting dusty.
I’ve not really had a chance to actually use it for a project . I have mounted it to my bench and tried different positions with different materials. It looked kind of cheesy at first but this thing is strong. Very well thought out with high quality materials.

I installed it with ease, and it is better for 99% of what I use a vice for. My heavy older vice could accept the blows of a sledgehammer and extreme torque, but the IQ vice is more convenient and more useful for everything else. It handles plenty of torque with the locking pin holding the ball in a fixed position. The quality is impressive. Don't hesitate with the purchase.
The padded jaws are fantastic. I use the vice as a 3rd hand at my work bench.
