Why these three

The clay and the restorer do different jobs and neither replaces the other. The clay is for hard, non-porous surfaces: it lifts grime and polishes in the same pass. The restorer is for timber: it penetrates the grain, lifts what is dulling it, and leaves a protective layer behind.
