IQ Vise - 360° Articulation - Includes 1 Set of Flex-Fit jaws

The vise is a quality product and I plan to install it very soon. What I also love are the Gator Magnetics. An amazing concept which with the Steel Wall Target plates, it opens up fantastic options

I’ve not really had a chance to actually use it for a project . I have mounted it to my bench and tried different positions with different materials. It looked kind of cheesy at first but this thing is strong. Very well thought out with high quality materials.

I installed it with ease, and it is better for 99% of what I use a vice for. My heavy older vice could accept the blows of a sledgehammer and extreme torque, but the IQ vice is more convenient and more useful for everything else. It handles plenty of torque with the locking pin holding the ball in a fixed position. The quality is impressive. Don't hesitate with the purchase.

The padded jaws are fantastic. I use the vice as a 3rd hand at my work bench.
I would recommend this tool for all of your light bench work needs.

The versatility of this vice sets it above for me. As I have a closed bench, the ability to articulate outward as I work on larger items is a must. The accessories are fantastic and help being able to flexibly use extra lighting, a magnifying glass, and either film(for school) or watch tutorials while working on firearms.

I've been using this vise now for over a month. The first thing about the vise is its eye catching and an instant conversation piece. After you mount it on your bench, it will sit around for the first few days because you don't want to use it and get it dirty or mark it up. I even found myself doing things that should be clamped in a vice right next to it. Then comes the day where that eureka moment hits you and you seriously use the vise for the first time. After this, you're hooked, and it becomes the centerpiece of your workbench. Have used it for countless things now and have only had it for a month. I've clamped things like 8' 1/8”-1/4” metal and aluminum tube and angle iron for cutting, golf club shafts that are both metal and fiberglass, to clamping electrical components for soldering. I truly love this advice, and it was worth the extra money to purchase it.

Overall a good Vice for my usage. I ordered the vise and the pipe Jaws. Not large enough to hold a 3-in pipe and you have to keep the object centered over the screw or break the vice. It was missing one C clip on the back of one of the guides. There is no parts diagram in the manual. I assume they're supposed to be two c-clips still waiting on call back from customer service. Overall it's a great design and I recommend you keep your heavy duty Vice

This is my review of Work IQ Tools Vise 360° Articulating Bench Vise Made from Steel & Cast Aluminum w/ 8-Position Locking Ball & Socket. I use a vise for a variety of woodworking projects. This vise has been a tremendous improvement over my previous one. First it has padded jaws that grip very well without marring or crushing the wood or other materials such as copper wire. The articulating feature allows me to position the vise at the best possible angle, which can be easily changed. It has a locking pin for certain angles including 90 and 45 degrees. The pad also has grooves for round objects such as pipes and dowels. I use this feature often to hold wood dowels that I twist copper wire around. It was easy to mount and is solid as a rock. The instructions are clear and thorough. I am extremely pleased with this product and feel it has exceeded my expectations; therefore, I will rate it 5 stars.

This vice has several different options for the jaws to support a variety of projects and materials. I wanted a second vice to use for longer materials and projects to hold between them. I highly like the ability to rotate and adjust this vice in many different positions and easily lock it into that spot. It is very sturdy and made mostly of metal. The jaws are heavier than I thought they would be. The slide pin will lock the vice into the several position even without the quick release. It comes with mounting hardware too. I did use some bigger washers because I mounted it to wood and didn't want to stress the mount points underneath my workbench.

Having a work shop means having a good vice or two. I've got one large bench flush mounted antique one and a standard newer bench top style. Both are work horses but have limits in size or direction of material placed. Seeing this certainly was intriguing Multiple angles, 360 swivel and adjustable in every direction. This thing is the bees knees.Out of the box, it takes a few seconds to figure out how to get the bottom clamp set right but other than that it's ready to roll. Working mostly with wood the extra slip over pads are great. I love that they are two sided so you basically have 3 types of jaws. Small pins keep them in place. The jaw opens and closes like butter. I did a one screw temporary mount to test this and had a great time with all the different materials this can handle, all in different directions. This thing is versatile.Using it - you can lock it in a few set positions with the locking pin ( or just leave the pin in the "unlocked" slot. Or loosen it up and get to any angle you want in a matter of seconds. Quick clamp lock and you're ready to cut.It's well made and I have no concerns about the build quality at all. I was worried that the ball is greased and in a wood work shop saw dust was going to be an issue. A quick flip and two allen screws and the clamp are holding the bottom on. Took those off in 15 seconds so there is a way to clean the ball and regrease if needed. This puts a smile on your face because it's easy to use and so well designed. The jaw variations alone is a great example of real work thought and testing. All sorts of pipes and diameters can fit into those.This is a great vice, heavy duty, brilliant design features and will get used more than the other two vices I have all day long. At this time, I can't think of one improvement - how often can you say that about a product?If you use a vice, this is the best upgrade you'll ever get. Also the perfect gift for someone who has everything in a workshop.
